DELTA LASER [Position Sensor] |
Measure position, runout, displacement, distance, thickness, surface wear, alignment, angle, tilt, liquid level, and more. [Non-contact / Non-destructive]The Delta Laser emits a small red dot at a target surface which reflects back onto a detector inside the emitter. By triangulation the display instantly calculates the relative distance to the object with very high precision. When the emitter or target surface move closer or further away, position change occurs, and the laser is very accurate for these kinds of measurements and other applications which can be derived from tracking displacement or changes in position.
The display unit shows the digital measurement in real-time and is equipped with a wide range of settings that are easy to program. Zero, offset, max/min hold and calculation, averaging rate, and threshold (pass/fail) values can be set and utilized directly on the display. Analog outputs and optional communication output adapters allow for integration into data loggers, PLC’s, and control systems.
