L-700 / L-702 Series for Lathes, Spindles and more!
Proven in the field for over 20 years, the Hamar L-700 & L-702 Series of laser alignment systems provide accurate alignment to .0001" and twice the speed of traditional alignment methods. Setup only takes minutes and software guides the user through the measurement process.
The L-700 & L-702 lasers emit a perfectly straight reference line through a machine axis, typically from a main spindle. The 4-Axis Target measures angle and offset in real-time, so adjustments can be made to tailstocks and other machine features. Commonly used for aligning lathes, spindles, turrets, turning centers, grinders, ways and saddles, and transfer lines. Precise straight, flat, square, parallel, and concentric alignments can be achieved. |
Proven in the field for over 40 years, the Hamar L-705, L-706, and L-708 Series provides accurate alignment to .0002" and are about 3x faster than optical borescopes and tightwire. Setup only takes minutes and software guides the user through the setup and measurement process.
The laser emit a perfectly straight reference line through a reference, typically a main bore. The patented self-centering 2-axis target measures offset in real-time, so alignment adjustments can be made to downstream bores and other features. Hamar's adjustable bore adapters are designed to readily accommodate a wide range of bore sizes. Commonly used for extruders, engine blocks, stern tubes, compressors, shaft bearings, and more. Straight, parallel, and concentric alignments can be achieved. |
L-730 / L-740 Series - Geometric Alignment
Hamar Laser Instruments created the world's first planar laser alignment system and the technology has been proven in the field for over 40 years. The L-730 &, L-740 Series auto-scanning laser systems are about 10x more accurate than traditional mechanical tools and provide resolution to .0001". Setup only takes minutes and alignments are twice as fast as alternatives methods.
The auto-rotating lasers shoot a perfectly flat reference plane. The 1-axis target measures offset in real-time, so alignment adjustments can be made to downstream locations. Multiple targets can be used for faster setup and measurement. The L-743 Triple Scan® System features 3 planes precision aligned at 90 degrees to each other, allowing for modern alignment work that is impossible or very impractical with any system from the competitors! Commonly used for machine tools, beds, tables, columns, rails, gantries, surface plates, bases, injection molding, saw mills, 3D printers, laser cutters, roll forming machines, presses, printing and packaging lines, and roll alignment. Straight, level, flat, twist, parallel, and square alignment or measurements can be achieved easier than ever before. |
Custom Laser SolutionsHamar Laser Instrument’s ability to customize makes them a cutting edge leader of precision laser alignment systems. Many of their now standard systems and components were designed and continuously improved after working closely with customers for over 50 years to deliver the most accurate and user-friendly systems. The result is clear – the best turnkey laser alignment solutions for today’s most in demand alignment work. If you have a special measurement or alignment project, please contact us with your requirements and we will do our best to offer a customized measurement kit or component to solve your problem.
Why laser alignment? Not only is laser alignment faster and easier than traditional mechanical methods, but it is also allows for complete alignment over the entire length of the machine, whereas test bars and dial indicators can only be over short ranges before they produce too much measurement error. When compared to a laser tracker, a laser alignment system costs much less, is faster to setup and use, and requires less skill and training.
